Lake Odessa Wave - February 15, 1979
           MRS. GEORGIA R. SALAZAR
   LAKE ODESSA - Mrs. Georgia R. Salazar, 60, of 1604 Harrison St., Lake Odessa,
died Sunday evening at 
Butterworth hospital, Grand Rapids.
   She was born in Fredericksburg, Texas on May 25, 1918, the daughter of Tony and
Ken Candelaria 
(Gonzales) Ramirez.
   She attended school in Texas and married Bacilio Salazar on March 9, 1936 in San
Antonio, Texas.  They 
moved from Texas to Sheridan in 1942 and to Lake Odessa in 1968.  She also attended
the St. Edwards 
Catholic church in Lake Odessa.
   Survivors include husband, Bacilio; nine sons, Mario, Bacilio, Jr., Quirino, all
of Lansing; Margo, John, Paul, 
Mark and Barney all of Lake Odessa; Domingo of Woodland; six daughters, Mrs. Burna
Sanchez, Mrs. Rudy 
(Romana) Aguitar, all of Lansing; Mrs. Fred (Felice) Vasquarez; Mrs. Sol (Sofia)
Rodriguez; Mrs. Bobbi (Andy) 
Gallardo, all of Lake Odessa; Mrs. Dominic (Georgia) Rodriguez o Saginaw.
   All surviving are three brothers, Domingo Ramirez, George Ramirez and Lallo
Ramirez, all of SanAntonio, 
Texas; five sisters, Mrs. Louisa Catalino, Mrs. Molesta Trenvio, Mrs. Enis Barbosa,
Mrs. Sista Traveno, all of 
San Antonio, Texas; Mrs. Maria Schanex of Stockbridge, MI., 33 grandchildren.
   Funeral mass was Wednesday at 10 am at St. Edwards Catholic Church, Lake Odessa. 
Father Lewis 
Baudone officiated.  Burial was in Lakeside Cemetery.
   Rosary was recited in the evening, Tuesday, at 7:40 pm at Picken-Koops Funeral
Chapel, Lake Odessa.
