The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Saturday, March 21, 1942

Virginia Lou Salci, 14, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Salci of Detroit, died 
Friday night at the Carson City hospital of a blood disease.  She was taken to 
the hospital Monday morning.

Born June 19, 1927, she would have graduated from the eighth grade of the Palo 
schools this June.  She is survived by the parents, three brothers, Robert, 
Jr., who is with the U.S. navy and Richard and Ronald of Palo.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 9 a.m. from SS. Peter and Paul 
church.  Rev. Fr. John S. Fons will officiate.  Interment will be at Mt. 
Olivet cemetery.
