The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Friday, June 8, 1934
Joseph Salz, 38 years of age, died Friday morning, June 8, at his home at 433 
Morse street, Ionia.  He was born in Hungary in 1896, and came directly to 
Ionia 18 years ago.  He had been employed at the Ypsilanti Reed furniture 
factory until about seven weeks ago, when he was taken ill with a heart 
ailment.  

He leaves his widow, Coral; one brother, Martin John Salz, Corunna, and one 
sister, Mrs. H. McLaughlin, of Grand Rapids.  

Funeral services will be held from the Boynton funeral chapel Sunday afternoon 
at 2:00 o’clock., with Rev. Edward J. Nest officiating.  Interment at Highland 
Park cemetery.
