Daily Sentinel-Standard - Thursday, June 24, 1926

Joseph Salz received work of the death of his mother Wednesday at Bad Axe, 
Mich. There are three children surviving, two sons, Joseph and Martin Salz, of 
Ionia, and a daughter, Mrs. Albert McLaughlin, of Fowler. The funeral will be 
held at the home of Joseph Salz.

Daily Sentinel-Standard - Friday, June 26, 1926
The body of Mrs. Rosie Salz, 59, of Bad Axe, will be brought to Ionia and the 
funeral service will be held Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock from the home of 
her son, Joseph Salz, Morse street. Rev. Alfred Trenerry will have charge. 
Burial will take place in Highland Park.
