               Excerpts from Greenville Obituary

                   JOSEPH ANSON SANBORN SR.

Died Tuesday April 21, 1987 age 69 at Carson City Hospital.
Born January 31, 1918 near Hubbardston son of Clyde & Rose Sanborn.
Retired Owner of the Bamboo Room restaurant in Carson City,Mich.
Veteran of World War II & member of the Perrinton VFW Post.
Survived by his wife, former Frances (Urie); two daughters, Vada Kittle, Mason, 
Vonna Melton, Carson City, son Joseph Sanborn Jr., Carson City; 14 
grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by two children, Gloria and Chester Sanborn.
Funeral services at 1:00 PM Friday at Schnepp Funeral Home, Carson City.
Rev. James Kendall officiating.
Interment is in Bloomer township Cemetery.
Friends may visit at the funeral home until 9 PM today & until time of service 
on Friday.
