The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Friday, February 18, 1972
Mrs. Thelma Jene Sanborn, 19, of 276 East Main, died Thursday morning at 
Butterworth hospital in Grand Rapids after being a patient four days.  Born in 
Ionia February 18, 1952, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Halik.  
She attended Ionia schools and November 14, 1970 was married in Ionia to Roy 
Sanborn.  She attended the Reorganized Church of Latter Day Saints in Ionia.

Surviving are her husband, Roy; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Martin Halik; two 
brothers, Martin Anthony Halik and Michael Lee Halik; two sisters, Rose Ann 
and Brenda Kay Halik; grandmother, Mrs. Alice Streeter of Ohio.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 3 p.m. at Myers-Roetman funeral home.  
Interment will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
