May 10, 1932 ALONZO SANDBORN'S LONG ILLNESS FATAL. Alonzo Sandborn, who died at his home a mile north of Sebewa corners, Wednesday, after a long period of ill health, was born in Sebewa township 64 years ago this month, a son of the late Columbus Sandborn, and had always resided in this vicinity. His wife, who died four years ago, was Miss Alma Luscher, and since her death Mr. Sandborn and his son, Melborn, have resided alone in the home on the Danby side of the Sebewa-Danby town line. Other surviving children are Herbert and Lawrence, Minnesota; Jacob, Riley, Allen, Raymond Sandborn and Mrs. Vera Krauz, Portland. there are a brother and two sisters, Rev. A.R. Sandborn, Lodi, Cal.; Mrs. Arlie Wilson, Washington, D.C.; Mrs. May Nichols, Bay City. Mrs. Sandborn was a member of the Odd Fellow lodge and Sebewa. Funeral services were held at the Methodist church in Sebewa Saturday afternoon and burial was in Danby cemetery.
