Portland Review - Wed. June 8, 1983

Riley H. Sandborn, 82, of 4133 W. Grand River Ave,. Portland, died at the 
Lansing Convalescent Home Monday, May 30.

Mr. Sandborn is survived by his wife, Anis; six sons, Howard of Sunfield, 
Riley, Kendall and Richard of Portland, Louis of Jonesboro, Ark and Gary of 
East Lansing; seven daughters, Mrs. Maxine Volk, and Mrs. June Higbee of Eagle, 
Mrs. Joyce Lyon of Portland, Mrs. Janet Gilbert of Lake Odessa, Mrs. Bonnie 
Jameson of Lansing, Mrs. Judy McCrumb of Hastings, and Mrs. Betty Russell of 
Pewamo; two brothers, Melborne of Sunfield and Lawrence of Florida; 55 
grandchildren and 46 great grandchildren.

Services were June 2 at Neller Funeral Home with Pastor Dow Chamberlain and 
Pastor Ray Dewey officiating. Burial was in East Sebewa Cemetery.
