MELBORN E. SANDBORN of Sunfield
Died Wednesday July 4, 2007-age 93
Born October 25, 1913 in Orange Twp. to Lawrence and Elma (Luscher) Sandborn.
A lifelong farmer with his son Luke.
Served on local school board for 30 years, Soil Conservation Board for 4 
years, Sunfield Elevator Board for 20 years, 26 years on the Maynard Allen 
State bank board.
Along with son John, owned & operated Sandborn Equipment in Portland.
Preceded in death by his parents, 7 brothers and 1 sister.
Survived by his wife of 71 years Fannie, 4 children, 12 grandchildren, and 9 
great-grandchildren.
Memorial service Saturday, July 14,2007 at Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, 
Portland with Pastor David Flagel officiating.
Inurnment in Danby Cemetery. Visitation an hour prior to service July 14.
