Virginia was born June 30, 1931, in Blanchard, the daughter of Arthur C. and Goldie Bellanger Winnie. She graduated from Blanchard High School with the class of 1950. Virginia was a life member of First Church of God in Greenville, the Belding Art Club, Belding Gardeneers, Ladies Literary club of Belding and the Herb Group of Greenville. Virginia loved the Lord and had no other joy than to know when her children and grandchildren were walking in the faith. She enjoyed the outdoors and would often draw and paint those places that gave her peace. Teaching art in her home on many occasions was a joy to her. She had a love of antiques and flowers and a gift of arranging both. Virginia loved making new friends and staying in touch with all of her friends. She will be greatly missed. On June 10, 1950, in Blanchard she married Ronald R. Sandbrook. She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Ronald, on Sept. 2, 1998. Virginia is survived by her children, Diane Graves, Melody and Michael Walker, all of Belding, Rhonda and Randy Croel of Greenville; Jonathan and Michelle Graves, Telly and Leanne Graves, Charles Graves, Sonja and William VanVlereah, Keith and Meghan Walker, Rachel Croel, Ralene and Joshua Dungan; great grandchildren, Mitchell, Caleb, Jenna, Colt, Shawna, Mikayla, Blake, Naomi, David and Noah; and brother and sister-in-law, Ray and Joyce Winnie of Greenville. Funeral services are 11 a.m. Wednesday at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding, with Pastor David W. Perry of First Church of God officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Home Cemetery, Greenville. The family will greet relatives and friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
