Sandell, 68, Well Known Resident, Succumbs Early Tuesday Morning. William F. Sandell, 68, well known resident of Belding, passed away at the home of Lewis Steele at Belding, early Tuesday morning, following a three weeks illness of influenza. He was the former owner of the Sandell banks, which failed a few years ago. The funeral was held on Wednesday afternoon from the Fitzjohn funeral home, in charge of Rev. H. S. Ellis, pastor of the Congregational church. Arthur Fitzjohn was the officiating undertaker, and interment was made at Carson City. The Elks, of which the deceased was a member, attended the obsequies. He was also a member of the Knights of Pythias and the Odd Fellows. He is survived by a nephew, William R. Chamberlain, Grand Rapids, and a cousin, Mrs. Pearl Hafer, Detroit.
