Sentinel-Standard - Saturday, July 8, 1961

Funeral services were held Wednesday for Mrs. Lucinda M. Sanders, 54, of 401 Center

street, who died Sunday at Traverse City. She was born October 13, 1906 in Defiance

county, Ohio and was married December 17, 1924 to Thomas J. Sanders at 
Lawrenceville, Ill.

Mrs. Sanders was a lifelong member of the Free Methodist church.

She was preceded in death by a son, Charles, and a daughter, Julia Mae.

Surviving besides her husband Thomas are a daughter, Mrs. Betty Bremer of Freeland;

a son, Thomas Jr. of Oakland, Calif.; five grandchildren, one brother Frank 
Harkrader of Hammond, Ind; a sister, Mrs. Julia Edwards of Sterling and two half-
brothers, James Harkrader of Chicago and William Harkrader of Hammond, Ind.

Bearers were Lester Dawson, Herman Page, Carl Edwards, Ray Harkrader, Leonard 
Harkrader and Donald Mitchell. Burial was at Saranac cemetery.
