The Ionia Sentinel, Friday, February 19, 1897
The funeral of Mrs. M. P. Sapp took place at Grand Rapids day.  The five sons 
were all present, and acted as bearers, Maj. T. G. Stevenson, of this city, 
filling out the quota of six.  Maj. T. G. Stevenson went to Grand Rapids 
Thursday to attend the funeral of Mrs. Sapp.
