Jessie V. Sargeant, 88, died Monday, Nov. 26, 1990, in Pueblo, Colo.  Mrs.
Sargeant was born Jan. 23, 1902, in Ionia, the daughter of John and Fannie Smith
Raymond.  She was a member of Belding American Legion Auxiliary.  Her husband,
Jesse, died in 1950.

Surviving are a daughter, Virginia Earnheart, Pueblo, Colo.; two sisters, Irene
Wood, Katie Peterson, both of Delton; a sister-in-law, Bernice Raymond, Belding;
two grandsons, William Earnheart, Adrian, Carl Earnheart, Texas; one
great-grandson, Patrick Earnheart, Texas.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Huffman Funeral Home, Belding, the
Rev. Dr. Ted Cole officiating.  Interment will be in Greene Cemetery.   The
family will receive relatives and friends Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at
the funeral home.
