She had been ill for the past three weeks with pneumonia. Mrs. Sarlo was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mekos Infantino, and was born in Italy, September 15, 1863. When 12 years old the family moved to New York, where she married Louis Sarlo and lived there until 1917. They moved to Iona nineteen years ago and her husband died January 7, 1934. She is survived by two daughters, Rose and Mary K. both living at home, and one son, James, of Lansing. Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 9 o’clock from the SS. Peter and Paul church. Rev. Fr. J. V. Coyle will officiate and interment will be at the Mt. Olivet cemetery.
