JERROLD SATTERLEE, 84
Jerrold Leon Satterlee, 84, of Ionia, passed away January. 24, 2018, at his home.

He was born April 30, 1933, in Gowen, the son of Leon and Luella (Harrison)
Satterlee.

Jerrold served in the United States Navy during the Korean War. He married Nancy 
Henderson on Oct. 8, 1954, in New Hampshire.

He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Ionia, and past member of the 
Masonic Lodge in Portsmouth, N.H.  He loved to pheasant hunt in earlier years.

Surviving are his wife of 64 years Nancy Satterlee of Ionia; children, William
(Lois) Satterlee of Ionia, Wayne (Diane) Satterlee of Grand Rapids,Danny Satterlee of 
Ionia and Marsha (David) Kohloff of Ionia; grandchildren, Chris Satterlee, Stacie 
McCoy, Jeremy Kohloff, Shannon Kohloff, EricSatterlee, Sean Satterlee, Andrew Satterlee, 
Bree Cobb, Josh Satterlee, and Rachell Brown; eight great-grandchildren; brothers, 
Kenneth (Barb)Satterlee of Connecticut, Richard (Madelyn) Satterlee of Fenwick; sister, 
Sharon (Warren) Kennedy of Monroe.

Jerrold was preceded in death by his parents; infant daughter, Cindy;
sisters,Jackie, Mary Ellen, Charlene, Kay; and brothers, Chuck and Stuart.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, Jan. 27, at 11 a.m at the First
Presbyterian church in Ionia with Dr. Chris Dorn officiating. Visitation will be one 
hour prior to services at the church. Those wishing may make memorial contributions 
to First Presbyterian Church and Faith Hospice.
