The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Monday, November 24, 1947
Report was received by the Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Monday morning that Mrs. 
Norma Sauer, wife of Leonard Sauer of Erie, Penn., died in Hamot hospital 
there Saturday after a long illness.  Mrs. Sauer was born in Lyons and moved 
to Erie, Pa., from Grosse Point with her husband and daughters last January.

Survivors besides her husband are two daughters, Mary Jean and Barbara Sauer; 
her father, George H. MacGillivray, of Muir and brother, Shirley D. 
MacGillivray, of Durand.

Funeral services are to be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. from the Donald Burton 
funeral home at Erie with interment at the Laurel Hill cemetery.
