Lake Odessa Wave - October 10, 1978
          MRS. GRACE H. SAUNDERS
   LAKE ODESSA - Mrs. Grace H. Saunders, 69, of 1708 Jordan Lake Ave.  died Saturday
at Butterworth 
hospital.
   She was born January 2, 1909 in Coldwater, the daughter of Evlyn and Anna Gygi
Hamilton and attended 
schools in Deford, graduating from the Lincoln school in Ferndale in 1926.
   She married Elbert Saunders in Yankee Springs in 1900.  He preceded her n death
in 1929.
   Mrs. Saunders moved to the Lake Odessa area from Indianapolis in 1932 and was a
member of Calvary Unit 
Brethren Church, the WMA an WCTU..
   Survivors include one son, Gilbert of Jenison; her parents, Evlyn and Anna
Hamilton in Cumberland Manor in 
Lowell; one sister, Mrs. Hazel Aldred of Birmingham; two brothers-in-law, Rush
Saunders of Kalamazoo and 
Marvin Saunders of Hale; one sister-in-law, Mrs. Fern Martin of Hale; three
grandchildren; one niece and one 
nephew.
   Services are Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at Calvary United Brethren Church with pastor
Joseph Fox officiating.
   Burial is in Lakeside cemetery.
   A memorial fund if established for Calvary United Brethren Church.
   Arrangements by Pickens-Koops funeral chapel in Lake Odessa.
