Lake O. Wave, Thurs. Mar. 20, 1980

OLIVET- Bethel P. Sawdy, 66, of Olivet, formerly of Woodland, died March 11 at 
the Bahr Foster Care Home in Olivet where he had been living for the past eight 
years.

He was born March 28, 1913 in Woodland Township, the son of Bert and Lucy Myers 
Sawdy. He graduated from Woodland High School in 1932 and farmed in  the 
Woodland area until 1938.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Roger (Carol Ann) Tobias; two brothers, 
Clifton and Victor, both of Woodland; one sister, Mrs. Marion Shade of Alto; 
three stepsisters, Ms. Arthur (Lenna) Wagner Bates of Howell, Mrs. Lucy Classic 
and Mrs. Forest (Florence) Begerou, both of Woodland; and three grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at the Pickens-Koops Funeral Chapel in lake Odessa 
with the Rev. Glen Rairigh officiating. 

Burial will be in Woodland Memorial Park.
