                        CLIFTON JAMES SAWDY

LAKE ODESSA-Clifton James Sawdy, 84, of 190 Amasa St., Woodland, died Jan. 23 at 
his home.

Born Sept. 5, 1906 in Woodland, he was the son of Bert and Lucy Sawdy.

He attended Woodland schools. He married Agatha Smith Dec. 13, 1924 in Woodland. 
He was a farmer his entire life.

He is survived by his wife Agatha of Woodland; a daughter, Betty Brock of 
Sunfield; a son, Carl Sawdy of Saranac; 11 grandchildren; several great-
grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a grandson and several brothers and 
sisters.

Funeral services will be Friday at 1 p.m. from the Koops Funeral Chapel, Lake 
Odessa, the Rev. Richard Sessink officiating. Burial will be in Woodland 
Memorial Park.

Visitation will be Thursday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 8:30 p.m. Memorial 
contributions may be made to the family.
