                       CHRISTOPHER MICHAEL SAWTELL

IONIA - Christopher Michael Sawtell, 16, of Ionia, died Sept. 23.

He was born the son of Joseph and Jane (Windisch) Sawtell on dec. 20, 1972 in 
Dearborn.

He was a student council vice-president at Ionia High School. He was a junior 
and was a member of the varsity football team and received two letters in 
varsity track. He was past freshman class president and the sophomore class 
vice-president. He was a member of the New Apostolic Church.

Surviving are his parents, Joseph and Jane Sawtell of Ionia; one brother, Joseph 
C. of Ionia; is grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Sawtell Jr. of Ionia and Mr. 
and Mrs. Charles Windisch of Holland; one great-grandfather Leonard Saterlee of 
Ionia; one great-grandmother, Angela Windisch of Holland.

Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. at the First Christian Church of 
Ionia, with the Rev. George Heidema officiating.

There will be No visitation hours.Memorial Contributions may be given to the 
family to be used as they wish.
