Ionia Standard, 13 Mar 1885

Danby – Died – in Danby, February 20, of consumption, Mrs. Annie E. Saxton.  
This deceased was born in the township of Lester, Livingston county, N.Y., July 
18, 1838, and was at the time of her death forty-six years, seven months and 
two days old.  She was married and came with her husband, D.F. Saxton to Rox 
and Eaton county, Michigan, in the fall of ’58.  Resided there for about eight 
years, since which time she has been a resident of Danby.  Funeral took place 
at her late residence, Sunday, February 22, 1895.  A large number of friends 
and relatives were in attendance.  Rev. James of Danby, officiating.
