Lake Odessa Wave, 25 Dec 1941

Andrew J. Sayer, 73, died suddenly from a heart attack suffered while working 
in a corn field at his farm in Sebewa township, Monday afternoon.  He had been 
a resident of that neighborhood most of his lifetime and was widely known in 
that section.  Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 1:30 at the 
Sebewa Methodist church and burial will be in Sebewa township cemetery.

Mr. Sayer was married on November 29, 1899, to Miss Anna J. Weippert who 
survives, as does one daughter, Mrs. Ethel Wright at Fremont, Ohio, and three 
grandchildren.  There are also three brothers and two sisters; William Sayer, 
Mulliken; John Sayer, Sunfield; Albert Sayer, Sunfield; Mrs. Christa Baldwin, 
Blanchard, and Mrs. S.L. Buchner in Sebewa, now spending the winter in Florida.
