                                      EDNA SAYER

SUNFIELD-Edna Sayer, 98, of Alma, died Feb. 15 at the Masonic Home in Alma.

She was born July 5, 1890, in Edmore, the daughter of Charles and Christina 
(Klager) Gierman.

In 1893, her family moved to Sebewa, where she married Clarence Sayer September 
10, 1913.

She was a member of the Sebewa Center Methodist church and was church organist 
for 50 years.She spent most of her life in Sebewa until her retirement to the 
Masonic Home in Alma.

She is survived by one son, Stanley; one brother, Elmer Gierman of Alma; one 
grandchild and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Saturday, 10 a.m., at the Sebewa Center Methodist 
Church The family will meet friends Friday, 2-4 pm at Mapes-Fisher Funeral Home 
in Sunfield. Viewing will be until 9 p.m. Friday.

Burial will be at a later date in East Sebewa Cemetery.

Memorials can be made to the Sebewa Center Methodist Church Building Fund.
