Ionia Sentinel-Standard - Thurs. July 18, 1968

Funeral services for Mrs. Rubie Fern Sayers, 84, of Muir will be Saturday at 2 
pm in Shaw - Rivett Hall funeral home in Muir.

Mrs. Sayers was born December 12, 1883, in North Plains township, the daughter 
of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Conner. She graduated from Muir high school and Ferris 
Institute and taught in Muir school. She married Glenn Sayers, who died in 
November 1964.

Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Carrie West of Muir and Mrs. Alice McLaren of 
St. Petersburg, Florida.

Burial will be in North Plains cemetery.
