The Lowell Ledger, August 25, 1910

Arthur Sayles, died in Grand Rapids August 17, aged 61 years.  His body was 
brought to Lowell for burial in the Pinckney cemetery, Keene township, where a 
brief service was conducted by Rev. N. F. Jenkins of Lowell.

Mr. Sayles was born in Ontario April 20, 1849, and moved with his parents to 
Keene in 1851 which continued to be his home until his removal to Lowell in 
1907.  Last February he moved to Grand Rapids.

In January 1871 Mr. Sayles was married to Rosella Corliss, who died four years 
later.  In 1890 he married Nellie Sage who with one son, two brothers, Orin of 
Vergennes and Edward of Grand Rapids, one sister, Mrs. Hannah Condon of 
Smyrna, survive him.
