W. D. Ogg at the house of her daughter Mrs. John Kellogg. Alice Sayles, daughter of Cyrenius and Eliza Day, was born in Keene June 26, 1850. She was married to Millard Sayles August 23, 1868, and they lived in Keene 20 years, moving from there to Vergennes and later to Bowne. After living in Bowne 5 years they moved to Lowell which has since been their home. To this union six children were born, five of whom are living: Mrs. Jay Pinckney of Kalamazoo, Elias M. of Edmore, Mrs. John Kellogg of Lowell, Mrs. Arthur Harding of Grand Rapids and Earnest of LaJunta, Colo.
