Keene - The oldest pioneer of Keene, Uncle Elias Sayles, died Wednesday at the
home of his daughter, Mrs. Geo. Raymond, in the 95th year of his age.  Funeral
services were held at the J.E. church, Friday afternoon, and his remains were
taken to the Pinkney burying ground for interment.

Brevities – John Sayles attended the funeral of his father at the Keene M.E.
church last Friday.  He was 94 years of age.
