                Aged Woman Is Found Dead in home Monday

Mrs. Nettie Sayles was found dead at her home at 219 S. Pleasant St., early 
Monday morning by neighbors. The physician estimated she had passed away 
approximately 36 hours previously. She was 77 years old.

She was born April 5, 1877, in Allegan County as Nettie Fetterley, daughter of 
Charles and Martha Fetterley. In the year of 1895, she was united in marriage to 
Louis Sayles, who passed away in 1936. She was a past matron of the Order of the 
Eastern Star.

Surviving are a son Orland of Greenville; one granddaughter, Mrs.Paul Magin of 
Grand Rapids; two great-grandsons; one sister,Mrs.Marie Schoolmaster, of Sparta; 
four brothers, William, Dwight, Delbert, all of White Cloud and Alex of Idaho.

Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock form the Fitzjohn 
Funeral Home with Rev. H.S.Ellis officiating. Entombment will be in the 
mausoleum at River Ridge cemetery.
