                              ROBERT L. SCHAAR

PORTLAND-Robert L.Schaar, 50,318 North Westphalia Road, Westphalia, died Tuesday 
in a Lansing Hospital.

He was born Dec.28, 1934, in Lansing, the son of William and Lucille Blythe 
Schaar.

He was a former barber in Westphalia, and later worked as a correction officer 
at the State Prison of Southern Michigan in Jackson.

Survivors include his wife, Marjorie; one son, Robert of Westphalia; one 
daughter, Rhonda Hengesbach of Westphalia; one granddaughter; his mother, 
Lucille Schaar of DeWitt; one grandmother Mildred Schaar of Mecosta; and one 
brother, William, of DeWitt.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 11:30 a.m. from St.Mary's Chapel in 
Westphalia, with the Rev. James Schmitt officiating.

Pallbearers will be Michael and Mark Schaar, Gary and Douglas Peterson, Geary 
and Glenn Morrell, Richard and Ronald Pride, and Thomas Maier.

Arrangements are by the Neller Fuenral Home in Portland.
