Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard - Tues. Aug. 29, 1950

Funeral services for Mrs. August C. Schadler, West Main street who died 
Thursday were held Monday at 2:30 p.m. at St. John's Episcopal church by the 
Rev. Fr. John G. Carlton following a prayer service at the home at 2 p.m.

Bearers were Vern Warnes, William Rivett, Stuart LaDue, Frank Kelly, George 
Biehler and Vance Kauffman. 

Mrs. Elaine Warnes, Mrs. Eileen Coates, Mrs. Vance Kauffman, Mrs. Gordon Panney 
and Mrs. Hilda Hiscock were in charge of the flowers. Miss Gertrude Welker was 
the organist. 

Interment was in Oak Hill cemetery.

Those attending the service from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. Herman Schadler, 
Gordon and Barbara of Grand Rapids, William Eikenrath of Howard City, and Mr. 
and Mrs. Harry Schadler, Mr. William Kerckes, Carl Heddon and Henry Hawley of 
Lowell.
