Funeral Services Here Friday For Leo W. Schaefer
Leo William Schaefer, 68, of Portland, passed away at the veterans hospital at Ann
Arbor on Tuesday. He was a veteran of World War I.

Funeral services will be held at St.Patrick's Church Friday at  9 a.m., the Rev. Fr.
Louis Flohe officiating. Interment will be at Portland cemetery.  The rosary will be
recited at 8 tonight (Thursday) at the Neller funeral home.

Surviving are five brothers, Joe of Pewamo, Mathias of Westphalia, Edward of
Lansing, John  of Portland and Arnold of Detroit, three sisters, Mrs. Seraphine Leik of
Portland, Mrs. Rosie Miller of Fowler and Mrs. Irene Clayton of Lansing.

All members of the V. F. W. and American legion attending the funeral are asked to
meet at the funeral home at 8:30 a.m. Friday.
