Ionia Sentinel Standard, 13 Feb 1978

Services for Henry M. Schafer, 74, who died Tuesday were Friday morning from SS
Peter and Paul church with Rev. Father Henry Dondzila officiating.  Bearers were
nephews Robert Datema, John, Eugene, Don and Fred Schafer and Terry Fletcher. 
Committal services were held at the church with burial in Mt. Olivet cemetery.

Following services, luncheon was prepared and served to family and friends in
the SS Peter and Paul school cafeteria.  Prior to services, a family prayer
service was held at the Leddick funeral home.
