Frank X. Schafer, 80, died at his Hubbardston home Thursday morning.

Born in Pewamo, January 21, 1893, he was the son of Peter and Susana Scholler 
Schafer.

He was a retired farmer and member of St. John the Baptist church of 
Hubbardston.

Surviving are a brother, Joseph T. Schafer of Hubbardston, and Henry M. Schafer 
of Ionia, a sister, Mrs. Eva Datema of Hubbardston.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 10 am at St. John at 8 pm at Estep funeral 
home the Baptist church at Hubbardston. Rev. Eugene R. Fox will officiate and 
interment will be at the church cemetery.

Rosary will be recited Friday at 8 pm at Estep funeral home north of Muir.
