ANN MARIE SCHAFER, 92,
Age 92, of Eagle, passed away Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at her home.

Ann was born January 26, 1926 in Hubbardston the oldest child of Joseph and 
Marie (Datema) Schafer. She graduated from St. John the Baptist High School 
and then attended business school in Lansing. Ann worked for the Michigan 
Department of Public Health. Ann enjoyed knitting, crocheting, quilting, 
working in her gardens, watching everything in nature and will be remembered 
as a kind hearted woman with a gentle soul.

She is survived by her siblings Rita Schafer, William (Margo) Schafer, John 
(Sharon) Schafer, Eugene (Priscilla) Schafer and many nieces and nephews.

Ann was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Fr. Bernard Schafer, 
Joseph Schafer, and Francis Schafer.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, January 5, 2019 at 11 am at 
St.John the Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10 am until time 
of the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to 
your local animal shelter.
