ARLENE R. SCHAFER of Pewamo
Died Thursday May 2, 2019-age 85
Born September 29, 1933 to Reynold and Irene (Schueller) Smith.
Member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Pewamo.
Retired from State of Michigan Department of Public Health.
Married Hilary Schafer September 25, 1954. They had 38 years together. 
Enjoyed spent time at Clifford Lake, traveling, sewing, playing cards.
Preceded in death by parents husband, son-in-law, brother, and 3 sisters.
Survived by her 6 children, 17 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, 6 
siblings, sister-in-law, many special nieces and nephews. 
Mass of christian Burial celebrated by Rev. Darrel Kempf Monday, May 6, 2019 
10:30 a.m. at St Joseph Catholic Church, Pewamo.
Rite of Committal will follow at st. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Pewamo.
Visitation Sunday 2-4 pm & 6-8 pm at St. Mary's Funeral Chapel, Westphalia. 
Rosary prayed at 1:30 p.m.on Sunday at the Chapel.
