GERALDINE J. SCHAFER
Died Wednesday, April 24, 2019-age 91.
Born on October 21, 1927 in Ionia, MI-daughter of Jacob and Matilda Cook.
Married Donald J. Schafer on June 22, 1948. They shared 70 years together.
Member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Westphalia, The Christian Mother's 
Society and Daughter of Isabella.
Preceded in death by her parents, infant twin sons, daughter-in-law, infant 
granddaughter, 5 sibling, and 2 brothers-in-law.
Survived by husband, 11 children, 49 grandchildren, 61 great-grandchildren, 
sister, 3 in-laws, special neighbors, many nieces & nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial  by Rev. Dennis Spitzley at 10:30 a.m. Monday, April 
29, 2019 at St. Mary's Catholic church.
Rite of committal at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Westphalia will follow.
Scripture service at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday at the Funeral home.
