The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Wednesday, July 26, 1955
Funeral services for Agnes M. Schafer were held Monday morning at 9 o’clock at 
SS Peter and Paul church of Ionia following a prayer at 8:30 at Boynton’s 
funeral home.  The Right Rev. Monsignor Herman Fedewa of Lansing sang the 
mass.  Burial was at Mt. Olivet cemetery.  

Pall bearers were Glen and Tom Hooper, Donald and Danny Pierce, Jerry McKenna 
and Ed Haight Jr.

Those attending from out of town were Mrs. Ruth Bauermeister of Detroit, Mr. 
and Mrs. Byron Boyd, Mr. and Mrs. M. C. McKenna, John and Jacqueline, Mrs. and 
Mrs. Ronald Marsh; William and John Schafer and Miss Elizabeth Schafer of 
Lansing, Mr. and Mrs. John Schafer and Mr. and Mrs. Erwin Raskamp of Grand 
Rapids, Mr. and Mrs. Cal O’Dell and Bud O’Dell of Kalamazoo and Mr. and Mrs. 
Claud Edwards of Lyons.
