James R. Scharaswak, 54, of Vestaburg, went to be with his Lord and savior on
Wednesday, May 17, 2006, with his family by his side.  James was born June 24,
1951, to James L. and Delores Loveless Scharaswak in Ionia.  

He married Linnea “Dutch” Burger on Oct. 4, 1969, at Mount Hope United Brethren
Church in Carson City.  He retired from BOC Fisher Body in Lansing.  He was a
member of Mount Hope United Brethren Church.  He liked to cut grass for his
family and church.  James will be remembered most for all the love he showed to
his family, especially his grandchildren.

James was preceded in death by his parents.  He is survived by his wife, Linnea
“Dutch” Scharaswak; three children, Jody, Bobbi and Brad and Dawn Scharaswak;
seven grandchildren, Alexxis, Aaron, Austin, Kaycie, Justin, Lydiah, Lesley;
stepmother, Barb; brothers and sisters, Steve and Jill Loveless, Dawn Campbell
and Sheri Bennett, Mary and Jim Weiss, John and Carla Scharaswak, Paula and Mike
Fethkenher, Val and Bruce Peterson, Bill and Terrie Scharaswak, Tony and Liz
Scharaswak; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews,
brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and many friends.  He will be missed by all,
especially his dog, Bosco.

A memorial service is 11 a.m. Saturday at Mount Hope United Brethren Church,
Carson City, with Pastor Valerie Reynolds officiating.  Interment will be in
Ferris Center Cemetery at a later date.  Memorial contributions may be made to
Mount Hope United Brethren Church.  Arrangements have been entrusted to the care
of Lux and Schnepp Funeral Home, Crystal.
