Sentinel Standard   27 March 1968
Victor Scharaswak, 83, of rural Morley died Tuesday in a Belding nursing home.  
He was born in Belguim and was a World War I veteran.

Surviving are four sons Ray and Basil of Greenville, James of Carson City and 
Elmer of Lowell; one daughter, Mrs. Ruth Badder of Ionia; 22 grandchildren and 
two great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Friday at 1:30 pm at Higbee church with burial in 
Higbee church with burial in Higbee cemetery under the auspices of American 
Legion post of Morley.

Body will be at Youngman funeral home in Lakeview until noon Friday when it will 
be taken to the church for services.
