Services for Mrs. Minnie M. Scheel, 79, of rural Lake Odessa, who died early 
Wednesday morning will be conducted at the Lakewood United Methodist church 
Friday at 1:30 p.m.  A memorial has been established for the Lakewood United 
Methodist church and envelopes are available at the Pickens-Koops funeral chapel 
at Lake Odessa.  Bearers will be LaVerne Jackson, Elwood Henney, Victor Eckardt, 
Carl Brodbeck, Wilber Dye, and LaVern Davis.
