Gerald T. Scheid, 63, 6117 Ellison Road, Belding, died Friday at Michigan
Veteran Facility in Grand Rapids.  Born Dec. 11, 1921 in Keene Township, Ionia
County, he was a veteran of World War II in the U.S. Navy, a member of Ionia
Knights of Columbus, Council 944, and St. Mary’s Church of Merriam.

Surviving are his wife, Amata, and two brothers, Arthur and Walter, all of Belding.

Mass will be held to 11 a.m. Monday at St. Mary’s Church of Merriam, the Rev.
Charles R. Dautremont officiating.  Interment at Mount Olive Cemetery in Ionia.
 Friends and relatives may call Sunday 2-4 and 7-8:30 p.m. at Huffman Funeral
Home.  Rosary will be recited Sunday at 7:30 p.m.
