Sentinel-Standard - Tuesday, Feb. 21, 1989

BELDING- George T. Scheid, 95, formerly of 1049 Pearl Street, Belding, died 
Sunday at Belding Christian Nursing Home.

He was born May 30, 1893, in Keene Township to John and Margaret Warner Scheid.

His wife Magdalena preceded him in death Feb. 22, 1980.

He is survived by two daughters, Doris Glomstad of Battle Creek and Thelma 
Caverley of Greenville; five sons, Donald, Harold, Paul, Deacon Howard and 
Jack, all of Belding; 38 grandchildren, and 50 great-grandchildren. 

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church with the 
Rev. Charlon Mason officiating.

Wake service will be Tuesday at 7:30 p.m., conducted by Deacon Howard Scheid at 
the Huffman Funeral Home.

Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
