Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 9 Dec 1954

Funeral services for Milburn C. (Pat) Scheidt of Route 3, who died Sunday 
evening at the Ionia County memorial Hospital, were held Wednesday afternoon at 
3 o’clock at Myers funeral home with the Rev. George Rentschler officiating.

American Legion members conducted the military rites.  Those participating were 
Ralph Kinsmir? and Belmont Burger of Post 203 of Belding, Glen Adgate and John 
Adgate from Post 175 of Saranac and Carl Seabrook, Julius Funk, Peter O’Connor 
and John Hudson of Post ?? of Ionia.  Buglers were Dwight Whipple and Robert 
Wood.  Pallbearers were Ford Rowley, William Rowley, Walter Reiger, James 
Reiger, D.O. Mellinger and Ralph D???sch.

In addition to the many friends and relatives from nearby towns and cities were 
Mr. Scheidt’s sister, Mrs. Chester E. Willard and husband from Evanston, Ill, 
and a nephew, Kester T. Willard, of Western Springs, Ill.
