He was a wagon maker and blacksmith, one of the old school, who could build a job from the ground up, but comparatively few of whom were left. Mr. Scheidt had been twice married and children by the first wife yet living are Charles and Edward Scheidt of Ionia and Mrs. Carrie Friedman of Saranac, and by the second wife. William, Mrs. Lena Holmes, Bertha and Earl. Funeral was Monday morning at 10 o’clock, from the Catholic church at Otisco. Rev. Fr. Zindler officiating and interment was in Otisco cemetery.
