Lowell Ledger, 7 Apr 1898

Peter Scheidt, of Keene, died Monday morning, aged 91 years.  He was father of
Peter Scheidt of this village, and had been in comparatively good health up to
about four weeks before his death, when he apparently broke down both in body
and mind.  His funeral was held yesterday at the Catholic Church at Miriam.

[Transcriber’s note:  There are notations on the obituary card that he was born
in France to Peter and Margaret Scheidt, and he was buried in St. Mary’s
Cemetery at Miriam.]
