Funeral services for Edward Theodore Scheidt, 67, of Route 1, Belding were held
Wednesday, November 22 at St. Joseph Catholic Church.  Arrangements were made by
the Charles M. Courser Funeral Home.  Rev. Fr. Charles E. Steves officiated at
the 10 a.m. mass.  Interment was at St. Joseph Catholic Church.  Pallbearers
were Mike Breimayer, Jerry Breimayer, Pat Breimayer, Joe Shindorf, James Laux,
Carlton Gais.

Mr. Scheidt was born September 26, 1905 at Miriam in Ionia county.  He died
November 19 at Ionia County Memorial Hospital after a 10-day illness.  He was
the son of Mathies and Louise T. (Martin) Scheidt.  He was self-employed as a
farmer and been a lifetime area resident.  He was a member of St. Joseph
Catholic Church.
