George Scheidt, 79, of 596 Fenwick Rd., Fenwick, died this morning at Sheridan
Community Hospital after a short illness.  Mr. Scheidt, a former Belding
resident, was a retired farmer, and a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church,
Belding.

He is survived by a sister, Mrs. George (Cecelia) Rockafellow, Fenwick; and
several nieces and nephews.

Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Friday at the Charles M. Courser Funeral Home,
Belding.  Funeral mass will be 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph’s Church, Fr.
Charles R. Dautremont officiating.  Interment will be in St. Joseph’s Catholic
Cemetery.  Friends and relatives may call at the funeral home from 2 to 4 and 7
to 8:30 p.m. Friday.
