Mr. Sheidt was born just 74 years ago last Christmas day and had resided on the farm where he died, for about 54 years, having been with the county in its great development in every way that he could during all those years. His funeral was held from St. Mary's Catholic church, Miriam, Tuesday morning at 9:30 o'clock and the remains were laid to rest in St. Mary's cemetery there, where sleep so many of his friends who have passed before. Mr. Scheidt had been a member of St. Mary's Catholic church ever since coming in this section of the country and his might well he patterned after as a model Christian life by many. A good man is gone with his passing.
