Ionia Daily Standard, 21 & 22 Dec 1891

May Schell, whose mysterious death at Battle Creek is noted elsewhere, was 
recently a resident of this city, and is said to have been on intimate terms 
with Fred Butler and Grace Cook, both of whom committed suicide.

The remains of May Schell arrived here from Battle Creek, on the 11:25 train 
this forenoon.  Funeral services were held at the residence of a sister, Mrs. 
Wm. Wright, at 2 this afternoon, and interment was in the Balcom cemetery, 
Berlin.  Her father and other friends live in Berlin township.
